The garage roof becomes a room. This urban extension reclaims an overlooked surface, the flat roof of an existing garage, and transforms it into a luminous winter garden, grafted directly onto the main living space.

The kitchen opens into this new volume; the garden reaches in from the other side. Full-height accordion windows dissolve the boundary between inside and outside. In winter, thermally comfortable; in summer, shaded and ventilated.

The addition brings light and space without expanding the building footprint, a precise act of densification that enriches rather than alters the existing home.
